Baptism

Baptism is a sacrament in which we are brought into the faith of the Church.  For Lutherans, we normally have our baptisms for babies or young children.  While this is our normal practice, we baptize persons at any age!  In order to be Baptized, there is a time of formation.  For Children, this time of formation is for the parents and God parents so that they understand their role in the spiritual formation of the child in the Christian faith.  For Adults, the time of formation is also about understanding the basics of the Christian faith.
