The most important aspect of our Teen Ministry is Confirmation. This time of study is key to the formation of future members of the church and to prepare them for life after they leave Trinity for college.
Normally, twice a month, we meet up and do an activity together outside of the church for fellowship.
We also encourage and support our teens learning in experiencing the greater church. We sponsor teens to attend the local ELCA summer camp (Camp Tomah Shinga). Getting high schoolers connected to our Lutheran colleges (particular Bethany College) and college chaplaincies such as Westwood House at KU help prepare our teens for the next major step in life. On the years of the ELCA Youth Gathering, we meet with over 25,000 other ELCA youth across the country for a week of faith, service, and fellowship.
