Our church in the Protestant tradition is led by both clergy and lay members of the congregation. The Congregation Council represents the members of the church and is the key governing body of the congregation. These leaders dedicate several years to the council and coordinate with the various committees of the church. The officers are rotated every year. If the church is a body, the Council is the well working heart keeping all the parts moving forward.
