Westwood House at KU
Westwood House is the ELCA campus ministry at the University of Kansas. Trinity has many families that are Jayhawks (and Wildcats too). But Westwood has partnered with our congregation several times and we are always happy to help this ministry with students at KU. The first Lutheran campus ministry started in the 1920s at Trinity (Lawrence) and the first campus chaplain was hired in 1962. In 2013, they moved into Westwood House, where you will find students often using the space as an extend living room for socializing and working. They are also known for their meals! (which is very important for college students)

Baker University School of Nursing- Lutheran Nursing Group
As Trinity is right next to the medical district in Topeka, we have formed a student group at Baker University School of Nursing for students that are interested in the intersection of faith and nursing. One of the major community service activity of this group is the monthly blood pressure checks at Trinity on the first Sundays of the month. The neighborhoods surrounding the hospital district ironically also in Topeka those that need the most healthcare services in the city.
